1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences and help me understand how it's used.

This site is operated from the UK. Cookie use here is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

2. What this site uses

Essential cookies

Required for the site to work. These do not require your consent under PECR.

kiara-consent, remembers your cookie choices (per category) so you're not asked again. Lifetime: 180 days.
kiara_attribution_v1, session-only marker that records how you arrived: the campaign tags on the link you clicked, the advertising click ID if there was one (such as Facebook's fbclid), the site that sent you, and the first page you landed on. Stored in your browser's session storage on whichever page you arrive at, never shared with anyone, and cleared when you close the browser. If you go on to send an enquiry it is attached to it, so we know which channels bring in applications; if you don't, it is simply discarded.

Analytics cookies

Only loaded if you allow analytics in the cookie banner (via “Accept all” or the analytics toggle). Used to understand which pages are visited and what content is useful. Aggregate, not identifying.

This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, with Google Consent Mode v2. Until you consent, no analytics cookies are set. If you consent, Google sets:

_ga, distinguishes visitors. Lifetime: 2 years.
_ga_*, keeps session state per property. Lifetime: 2 years.

Marketing cookies

The Meta (Facebook) Pixel is in use. It sets third-party cookies on facebook.com and tells Meta which pages you viewed and whether you registered, so we can measure our advertising. Across the site it stays off unless you allow marketing in the cookie banner.

One exception, stated plainly. On our masterclass pages (addresses beginning /webinar) we do not show the cookie banner, and analytics and marketing cookies are set as soon as you arrive, without asking you first. We do this because the advertising that brings people to those pages returns almost no measurable data otherwise. You can still block or delete these cookies in your browser using the instructions below, and this exception applies to no other part of the site.

3. Managing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, it re-opens the banner with per-category toggles. Withdrawing analytics consent also removes the Google Analytics cookies this site set.
